At Scotch Whisky International Warehousing, we believe every cask tells a story. From the moment spirit is filled until the day it reaches the bottle, we provide the expertise, facilities and care to protect its journey, offering complete whisky services from a single purpose-built bonded warehouse.
Proudly based in Glenrothes, in the historic Kingdom of Fife, we are bringing whisky home to one of Scotland’s most historic whisky regions. Combining generations of industry knowledge with modern technology, we provide trusted solutions for distilleries, independent bottlers, merchants, brand owners and private cask owners, whether storing a single cask or a large commercial inventory.

Behind the paperwork, our warehouse team walks the racks every day. This is the hands-on care every cask receives, whoever owns it and however long it stays with us.
- 01Provenance held intact. A fixed, registered location and a documented record from intake onward.
- 02Measurement you can rely on. Careful regauging keeps volume and litres of pure alcohol (OLA) accurate.
- 03Sample and condition discipline. Samples drawn, labelled and stored; casks assessed on evidence.
- 04Sound-cask assurance. Inspected for leaks and wear, repaired with specialist cooperages.
- 05Ready for the next decision. Records kept in order for any bottling, transfer or sale.

01Cask Storage & Rental Services
Our purpose-built whisky warehouses provide secure, professional storage designed to protect and support the maturation of your casks. Our state-of-the-art racking, described by customers as the best they have seen in Scotland, offers exceptional organisation, accessibility and care.
From barrels and hogsheads to larger puncheons and butts, we tailor flexible storage to your requirements. For a stronger brand presence you can also rent dedicated warehouse sections, customised with your own branding, signage and marketing, right down to your company branding on the exterior of our buildings.
02Cask Management Services
Our comprehensive cask management gives you complete visibility and control throughout the maturation journey: regauging, re-racking and sampling, with each cask accurately monitored at every stage.
All cask information is securely recorded in Vapour, our digital cask-management platform, giving you access to cask history, key data and ownership records whenever you need them. View updates, request tasks and keep full oversight from storage through to bottling.
03Filling, Blending & Vatting Services
Our purpose-built filling and vatting facility uses industry-leading technology for accuracy, efficiency and complete traceability, from tanker intake through to cask, IBC and vessel transfer. Two dedicated 17,500-litre spirit vats provide a combined 35,000-litre capacity for large-scale handling, blending and maturation.
The automated system manages spirit transfer, blending, vatting, reduction and cask filling with integrated flow measurement and data capture, across barrels, hogsheads, butts, puncheons and IBCs, at flow rates of up to 400 litres per minute.
04Demineralised Water Production
We produce our own demineralised water on-site, giving complete control over water quality and consistency throughout production and bottling. It ensures the highest standards during spirit reduction, blending and bottling, supporting the character and integrity of every whisky release.
05Bottling Services
Through our sister company, The Auchtermuchty Bond Ltd, we provide complete bottling solutions for single-cask releases, bespoke projects and commercial runs, managing the journey from cask to finished bottle with precision, care and full traceability.
Use your own dried goods or let us source packaging. Our capabilities include single-cask bottling, customer-owned or sourced bottles, closures and labels, hand-numbered or automated labelling, high-value and limited editions, and production runs of up to 10,000 bottles.
06Client Visits, Branding & Events
Our bespoke Cask Room offers an exceptional setting for client visits, brand experiences and whisky events. Enjoy a guided tour of our bonded site and the maturation process, followed by a memorable tasting, or host an exclusive function with a premium dining and whisky experience.
